A Dated Art Nook Becomes a New Fireplace in First Colony
First Colony -
Bob and Janice B. found a wonderful older home high on the banks of the James River.
They installed a new gas insert in Bob’s study but needed a new fireplace to add warmth and character to the living room. The previous owners had installed an art nook and cabinets in an area which would make a great location for the new fireplace.
Taproot and Everett Brothers Homes teamed up to create the new focal point using Janice’s’ design and antique wood from Bob’s family home for the mantle.
